Wx3 Writing Exercise & Inspiration – How To

It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Step 1 – Clear your mind. Take a deep breath. Relax.

Step 2 – Open a new Word doc, or Notepad page, or grab a piece of paper & a pen.

Step 3 – Look at the picture for 60 seconds & then write whatever comes to you – dialogue, story, log line, idea, concept, emotion, senses, etc..

When you are done…

Save it and put your writing away. Let it seep, brew, stew, and simmer. Next time you need inspiration or an added boost to your current work – you’ll have a file full of these.

And, it will add to your habit of writing – boom!

My Wx3…

It’s beautiful here, even if it smells a little dank and musty.

The water is crisp and the reflections and glow is so bright my skin looks like it is glowing. I know they’re just animals… but I can’t help but wonder if it’s a little bit of magic, too.

Is this what older civilizations mistook as magic? Or were they right?

I wonder if these little creatures glow if you capture them. Can I take some home? What do they even eat? Moss? Is that what that smell is, or is that something else — something bigger?
